Samsung is known for bringing their top of the line Super AMOLED displays to their flagship device. They upped the ante this year by installing a Super AMOLED+ display on the Galaxy SII. The decision was unanimous, it was the best screen on a cellphone UNTIL the N9 stepped in.

The N9 uses a curved glass , AMOLED display with a polarizing layer in it called a CBD panel. This is inhouse Nokia technology and quoting Engadget’s Myriam Joire – “Its like looking into the eyes of God”. Yes , it is THAT good ! People lucky enough to have their hands on one around the world have been posting comparison pics around the internet. We decided to compile them to give you a good idea of the screen’s clarity.

Wow, I knew the N9 CBD screen was good but I didn’t know it was brighter and clearer than the Super AMOLED+.  Now that’s impressive.  Thanks for sharing this info.

It’s “clear” that CBD is the future, we need the phone at outsides, so the next step is a “water resist phone” SONY is doing it right now on android..

The Motorola Defy is Water Resistant I believe.  I’d love a Meego phone that I wouldn’t have to worry about, ok, I need to keep it from getting wet.
