MeeGo Workgroup: 15th April, San Fransisco.

March 19, 2010, Posted by Dhruv at 12:54 pm

This looks to be one of the first opportunities that MeeGo representatives will have to make formal announcements about the progress of MeeGo.

On the 15th April, at the Linux Foundation Collaboration Summit in San Francisco, MeeGo teams will be presenting updates in a day-long event.

The schedule includes:

  • MeeGo Technical Overview
  • A Walk-Through of the MeeGo Desktop
  • Meego Connectivity Framework
  • Rapid Development on MeeGo using QML [QML is the Qt 'markup' 'meta-object' language. More information can be found here.]

There’s also a session called ‘Meego Technical Panel with Speakers: Mark Skarpness (Intel), Andy Wilson and Dawn Foster (Intel.)

Keep this one in your diary because it’s likely we’ll get some good information out of it.

Thanks Henrik. I found a few references to ‘mark-up’ but clearly they were wrong!
